Trained at FIT by Two Great Teachers
I trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, earning my degree in Metal and Jewelry Arts, and I was lucky to learn from two great teachers who shaped everything I design.
Maria Canale, a renowned designer of fine high jewelry, taught me precision and a dedication to perfection: how a piece should sit, catch the light and feel finished from every angle. Her classic elegance is still in every ring I design.
Sandra Boucher, the late designer of Marcel Boucher Ltd. and wife of Marcel Boucher, taught me that every piece should tell a story and have a little character of its own.
Since FIT, I’ve spent more than 30 years designing jewelry and built two heritage jewelry brands, The Irish Jewelry Company and The Italian Jewelry Company. Through Jennifer Derrig Design, I bring that same eye for design, symbolism and storytelling to brands and private clients.

For private clients who want something made just for them. Whether it’s an engagement ring, a matching wedding set, an anniversary band, a family heirloom reimagined or a charm bracelet that tells your family’s story, you work with me one-on-one from the first idea to the finished piece.
I work with lab-grown diamonds and fine gemstones in 14k and 18k gold and platinum, and I’ll walk you through every choice in plain language so you know exactly what you’re getting.
1. Courtesy Consultation. We talk about what you love, who it’s for and your budget. Share photos, Pinterest boards or an heirloom you want to honor.
2. Design & Quote. I prepare your design options and a clear, itemized quote, with a CAD rendering where it helps you see the finished piece.
3. Crafted for You. Once you approve, your piece is made to order. I oversee every step and keep you updated along the way.
4. Delivered. Your finished jewelry ships fully insured, beautifully packaged and ready for its big moment.

Good to Know
- Every concierge piece is custom and made to order, so it can’t be returned, exchanged or resized after it’s made.
- Quotes are valid for 24 hours to 7 days, depending on the terms of your quote. Gold is priced on the day you purchase, and stones are reserved once payment is made.
- Insured shipping is quoted separately; sales tax is added at invoicing.
